Activity:

continue learning
about the symbols.
*Teacher will
exhibit and discuss
with children using
pictures of
American symbols
and their meaning,
such as the Bald
Eagle, Statue of
Liberty.
*Teacher will
demonstrate
creating one of
these symbols from
cut-outs.
*Children will
observe and create
their own using
construction paper
in a variety of
colors and crayons
to complete the
task.
*Children will
relate on the
activity by asking
and answering
related questions.
*Developing
language and
creativity.
*Outdoor play
weather permitting
